Dear Customer,

As you are aware that Government of India, Ministry of Finance through Department of revenue has increased the rate of GST on footwear having sale price less than Rs. 1000.00 from 5% to 12 % vide Notification No. 14/2021 Central Tax (Rate) dated 18.11.2021.

As a result, footwear and textile/garments of sales value not exceeding ₹ 1000, shall be charged  GST @12% from the existing GST rate 5% w.e.f. 01.01.2022. Therefore, the MRP of the footwear and textile/garments having sales value not exceeding ₹ 1000 has been revised to the extent of increase in tax.

During the transitional period, you may find some products with changed MRPs due to increase in GST rate w.e.f. 01.01.2022. We look forward for your kind cooperation and support for the smooth transition during the implementation of aforesaid GST Notification.
